The stories of the Sacriston community are incredibly important to the work of the Redhills Charity, and there will be an opportunity to share your images to become part of the story at Jubilee Party in the Park on the 4th of June.

As part of Redhill’s commitment to becoming a living archive of the history of the Durham coalfield and a centre of learning for schools, the local community and the wider public, the team will have a stall in The Fulforth Centre between 11am-3pm to ensure that the past we inherit is documented for the community by the community.

We would love to welcome you to the Redhills stall in The Fulforth Centre, where the team will be able to digitise your photos there and then. Your photos will be added to the community archive to use in future exhibitions to celebrate our rich heritage and proud communities.

You will find us alongside Beamish Museum and the Sacriston Camera Club and many other organisations with fun activities happening outside for all the family!
