The traditional festive brass band concert returns the historic home of the Durham Miners Association (DMA) this Christmas.

For many years, the Christmas concert at Redhills, Durham Miners Hall was a highlight of the festive season for DMA members and their families.

Last year, the much-loved festive tradition was revived – and opened to the public for the first time. It returns this year on Saturday 7 December and all are welcome to enjoy a performance from the DMA Brass Band in the magnificent setting of The Pitman’s Parliament.

After the success of last year’s event, we are delighted that the concert is returning to Redhills this Christmas. The concert was a much-loved tradition among our members and their families, and we hope to establish this event as a highlight of the season for the wider community. We look forward to welcoming the public into our home this Christmas for an evening of music with our wonderful brass band.

– Alan Mardghum, DMA Secretary
